Creative Director at The Garden Studio, Founder at Studio Nomad Interiors
Landscape Design and Interior Design Studio
Founder and Studio Director Eliza Costabel has had a global upbringing across cultures and continents. After graduating in Interior Architectural Design from California State University in 2003, she worked for several years in the corporate world of design and architecture, first in Los Angeles and later in Nairobi. In 2008 she moved to a small town on Kenya’s tropical coast and discovered the beauty of designing spaces and objects entirely from scratch, made from natural materials and using traditional processes. This unique experience honed her skills and transformed her distinct approach to design.
Upon returning to her native country of Malta in 2014, she set up Studio Nomad Interiors and The Garden Studio, merging her passions for interior design and landscaping. Driven by the knowledge she has gathered over the years, she has embraced the Mediterranean and all of its incredible wealth of inspiration, transforming this into the new narrative for her studio’s creative output and ethos.
